Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how NodeSpace Technologies, LLC ("NodeSpace," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our websites, contact us, create an account, purchase services, or use services operated under the NodeSpace Hosting brand. This policy also applies to sshVM where this policy is linked or incorporated.
1. Information we collect
We collect information in three general ways: information you provide directly, information generated when you use our websites and services, and information received from service providers that help us operate our business.
- Account and billing information. When you create an account or order service, we may collect your name, company name, postal address, email address, telephone number, account credentials, billing preferences, transaction information, and related account records.
- Order and fraud-prevention information. We may collect or evaluate IP address, approximate geographic location, browser and device information, network/provider information, order history, and fraud or abuse signals to verify orders and protect NodeSpace, our customers, and our network.
- Support and communications. When you open a ticket, email us, use live chat, submit a form, or otherwise contact us, we collect the information you provide along with relevant account, service, message-header, and technical information needed to respond.
- Website and analytics information. Our websites may collect pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location, browser/device information, interactions with site features, and similar usage information. Optional analytics and behavior-measurement tools are described below.
- Service and operational information. When you use hosting, server, colocation, domain, licensing, or managed services, we maintain technical and administrative information necessary to provision, secure, monitor, support, bill, and troubleshoot those services.
- Customer content. Some services allow customers to store or transmit data on NodeSpace infrastructure. In those cases, NodeSpace generally processes that content on behalf of the customer as needed to provide, secure, maintain, or support the service.
2. How we use information
We use information for legitimate business and operational purposes, including to:
- create and administer customer accounts;
- provision, operate, maintain, secure, and support services;
- process orders, invoices, payments, refunds, and account credits;
- detect and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our policies;
- communicate about service changes, maintenance, billing, support requests, security matters, and other account-related issues;
- respond to sales inquiries and requests for information;
- understand and improve our websites, documentation, products, and customer experience;
- comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and protect the rights, safety, and property of NodeSpace and others.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer account information for third-party behavioral advertising.
3. Cookies, analytics, and website tools
We use essential cookies and local browser storage when needed for website functionality, security, preferences, and account-related features. We may also use optional analytics and support tools after consent where our cookie controls apply.
- Matomo. We use a self-hosted Matomo analytics installation to understand aggregate website traffic and usage. Depending on your cookie preference and our Matomo configuration, Matomo may use cookies or similar identifiers.
- Microsoft Clarity. When optional analytics are enabled, Clarity may provide heatmaps, interaction analytics, and session-replay information that helps us identify usability problems and improve the site.
- Tawk.to. We use Tawk.to to provide live-chat functionality. If live chat is enabled, Tawk.to may process device, session, and chat information necessary to provide that feature.
- Google reCAPTCHA. Certain public forms use reCAPTCHA or similar anti-abuse controls. These services may collect technical information needed to determine whether a form submission is legitimate.
You can accept or reject optional website cookies through the cookie notice. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from browsing the site, although some optional analytics or chat functionality may be unavailable.
Some pages may also display third-party content, such as externally hosted award badges or other resources. When your browser requests that content, the third-party provider may receive standard connection information such as your IP address and browser details.
Cookie preferences
You can change your optional-cookie choice at any time. Selecting the button below clears the saved preference and shows the cookie choice again.
4. Payment processing and account systems
NodeSpace uses third-party systems to provide customer account, billing, payment, and related services. Our customer portal is powered by WHMCS. Available payment methods may be processed by providers such as Stripe, PayPal, BitPay, or other processors presented at checkout. Payment processors receive the information necessary to authorize and settle transactions. NodeSpace generally receives transaction status, identifiers, and other payment metadata rather than complete payment-card credentials.
5. Fraud prevention and abuse handling
We may use fraud-prevention and reputation services, including providers such as MaxMind, FraudLabs Pro, and FraudRecord, to evaluate orders, identify abusive activity, and protect our systems. Information shared for these purposes may include account details, IP/network information, order information, fraud indicators, or hashed identifiers. Where permitted by law and our agreements, confirmed abuse or payment fraud may also be reported to appropriate fraud-prevention services.
6. When we disclose information
We may disclose information to vendors and service providers that perform functions on our behalf, such as billing, payment processing, customer-support tooling, fraud prevention, analytics, communications, data-center services, and security. We may also disclose information:
- when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process;
- when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or threats to people or property;
- to enforce our agreements and policies;
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, subject to appropriate protections.
We require service providers to handle information for the purposes for which it is provided and subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, maintaining business and tax records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud or abuse, enforcing agreements, and satisfying legal or regulatory obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the reason it is held.
When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it. Some records may remain in backups or security logs for a limited period before normal rotation or deletion.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You can review and update many account details through the NodeSpace Client Portal. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to certain processing.
To make a privacy request, email privacy@nodespace.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may also retain information where necessary for billing, tax, security, fraud prevention, legal claims, or other lawful purposes.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information appropriate to the nature of the data and the services involved. These measures may include encrypted network connections, access controls, logging, account-security controls, system hardening, and other security practices. No internet service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
If we discover a security incident involving personal information, we will investigate and provide notices to affected individuals, regulators, or other parties when required by applicable law.
10. Children's privacy
NodeSpace services are intended for business and general-audience use and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our websites.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, vendors, or legal obligations change. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website, customer portal, or other appropriate channels.
